As you know this is something that has been going on for a long time. In fact, FBI was supposed to shutdown those DNS servers some months ago, but they decided to postpone it as there were still a lot of users using the rogue DNS (controlled by the FBI once the cybercriminals were arrested).
Some weeks ago even Google started helping with this, showing a warning in case you were accessing their website through the rogue DNS. If you want to be sure that you are not affected, go to http://www.dns-changer.eu/en/check.html and follow the instructions.
