[CLOSED] Detection of antivirus?? HOW
L.S.,
I'm working on a PC with Windows 7 Home premium with an I7 processor (first family).
When starting up my computer, The welcome screen appears for a few (10? seconds) and then the screen truns black for about 60 to 70 seconds.
A whilw ago it did not act so strange.
I run the tool yorkyt . exe through my PC and it found some malware; after following the steps (reboot twice) and a complete scan of the system, the fact mentioned above still happens.
Now I have rn Panda Active Scan Cleaner through my PC and after having connected to the cloud it mentiones that teh analyzing report will coem in afew minutes; after having waited for six whlole minutes my time was up and I shut down the scan.
I still donot know how to fix the above mentioned issue; or is it not a virus running?
I'm not an expert in PC business, but an explanation in normal "terms" would be very helpfull.
Kind regards, Willem.

Re: Detection of antivirus?? HOW
It doesn't seem to be a virus issue
If it takes around 1 minute to load the desktop (black screen) its because explorer.exe (the desktop manager) is being delayed to be loaded because of an application you have recently installed
Try disabling any unnecessary items from windows startup so that it loads faster. To do so:
Go to start -- run, type msconfig and press OK.
Go to the startup tab, uncheck all the boxes except the Panda related ones (apvxdwin, Panda Retail, Panda 360 2011), accept it, restart the system to save all the changes and check that the incident have been solved

Re: Detection of antivirus?? HOW
L.s.,
Thanks for your quick answer.
I'm working with Windows 7 and found the run command by "windows key"+ R and then "msconfig"; all startup programs were stopped except the Panda ones.
At new starting up ; the screen now turns black for 25 seconds and gives some activity on the PC, but screen stays black; after another 25 seconds the screen appears in teh normal Window environment.
It did not give a great result.
Starting up my PC and waiting till all is installed, I made a quick scan with Panda; nothing was found.
Any other solution??

Re: Detection of antivirus?? HOW
It seems to be a general slowdown issue that has nothing to do with malware
Have you tried defragmenting the disk?
Does it load faster if you uninstall the antivirus?
