Panda GP2010 firewall issues

Postby coolluke5 » Tue Nov 03, 2009 6:21 pm

Hello,
I recently installed Panda GP 2010 on my windows xp OS computer. The panda program will not load the firewall.. I keep getting the danger baner telling me to restart my computer to load the firewall. However, restarting does not fix the problemI found a fix for the 2009 version. But it does not work for the 2010 version. Any help would be appreciated.

HAs anyone answered this question? I have the same issue. I downloaded the GP2010 and renewed my subscription. I have an AMD 64 clone with XP Pro Version 2002 SP3. All of the GP2010 features work on install except that the firewall protection continually flags me that a reset is needed to enable it. Any number of restarts and cold starts later and the same mesage appears. I tried to enable through the control panel which initially shows it activated and then seconds later the same message appears requiring a restart.

Hello

If you don't have the latest version of the product (x.01.00 - noted in the title bar) installed, download it from your customer's download area, uninstall the current antivirus version, reboot when prompted and then install the new version rebooting when it is asked.

If the problem still persists, we will need the issue to be investigated, so contact the Technical Support team in your country referring this post URL
