Commandline scan does not start

Postby HFlemmerer » Fri, 15 Jun 2012, 14:02

To analyse a potential infected computer (with Sophos Safeguard Enterprise encrypted harddisk) I boot it with a WinPE 3.0 CD (ISO build by Sophos including Safeguard Enterprise Tools necessary for disk access).

Vista compatibility mode seems not to be available.

Is Panda Security going to publish a Panda Commandline Scan 64bit?
Any idea to get is run anyway?

Regards

We have created Panda ActiveScan Cleaner which is a tool to remove Adware/FakeAV or rogueware type of malware. The tool is 64 bit compatible.

Its main features comprise the following:
Fast scan.
Great detection and disinfection capability.
User-friendly interface.
Does not require user interaction.
Does not require restarting the computer.

There are two versions of Panda ActiveScan Cleaner:
PandaActiveScanCleaner.msi - http://acs.pandasoftware.com/activescan ... leaner.msi
PandaActiveScan Cleaner.exe - http://acs.pandasoftware.com/activescan ... leaner.exe

The only difference between them being that the .msi version cannot be run on Safe mode.

There is also the Panda Safe CD which may assist you.

If you get a virus which is not disinfected with either of these then you can always open a support ticket and request a PScan. This is a tool we use on client PCs where a Panda Malware technician can look at the report generated and clean the infection.

If you have any additional questions let me know.

David
