[Resolved]Panda for Desktop Update outsite Server?

Postby dangnguyen » Wed, 09 May 2012, 04:41

I'm using Panda for Enterprise (Admin Secure 4.5)
I have installed Panda for Desktop 4.5 for my clients. Normally, the clients will get the signature file from Admin Secure Server. But I want to install Panda for Desktop 4.5 for some clients outsite the Admin secure server(For Example: my home PC) which use for office work and do not have internet connection. Can I do that? If can, how can it update signature file?
God put your eyes in front of your head for a reason to stop looking back...

This is possible. You can install the protection and update via a UNC path or just drop the pav.sig in safe mode.

Personally I am not even going to take this further because the idea is so wrong :) You wont beable to speak with your adminsecure repository unless you have a roaming server, even then its not ideal.

In this instance, use a hybrid network of Panda for business in a closed network and PCOP outside of this. Yes you will have two consoles but its the lesser evil.

If you want to know anything specific, please post back :)
