Launch of version 5.03.01

Between June 2 and June 18, the version 5.03.01 will go into production. This version includes 5.03 funcionalities and fixed bugs.
Fixed Bugs:
• Improved algorithm to differentiate between computers with the same IP address and name.
• Minor corrections to the upgrade application.
• Adaptation to the new Windows Security Center API.

Due to a necessary intervention in our Datacenter there will be a maintenance procedure in the Panda Managed Office Protection Center.
When is the Maintenance Taking Place?
The maintenance will occur on Tuesday, May 19th 2008, at 00:00 am GMT+1 , and will end at 1:00 am GMT+1 on the same day.
How Will Our Service Be Affected?
During that time window Panda managed Office Protection Customer and Service Provider Console will no be reachable. You should see no noticeable impact on your local protection.

5.03.00 VERSION FEATURES

With the new build of MOP being rolled out as we speak you may want to take a little time to review what features have been improved and added into the product. As you may already be aware, when these version updates are performed, it's completely transparent to you the admin and/or user and requires no intervention on your part, except perhaps benefiting from the new improvements.

Version 5.03 includes improved features and functionalities offering the following benefits:

� Greater management flexibility through executive, activity and detection reports with flexible frequency: daily, weekly or monthly.
� Easier deployment of software thanks to greater coverage of automatic uninstallers, as well as differentiation of computers through MAC addresses.
� Easier management of computers, with respect to the detection and protection status and through exporting of files that can be handled offline.
� Optimized service management thanks to advanced searches for computers and detections.

The new characteristics of the version are explained below in more detail:

1. Administration console
1.1 Information in more detail about licenses and contracted service periods: details of all contracts with active services and their corresponding licenses.
1.2 Installation screen: the language of the protection is selected when selecting the group, as well as the profile associated to the group.
1.3 Sending of detection warnings via SMTP server with authentication.
1.4 Improvements in the reports module.

� Selecting groups of computers for which to generate reports.
� Option to omit license information in the Executive report
� �Group� and �Instances� columns in detection events
� New status for computers: 'Installing protection'.

1.5 Monitoring:

� Differentiating between computers with the same IP and the same name through MAC address.
� New status for computers: 'Installing protection'.
� �Group� and �Instances� columns in detection events

1.6 Quick search for computers: option to carry out searches by computer name and IP address.
1.7 Exporting the content of the lists to Excel or CSV.
1.8 Warnings from Panda Security: notifications are displayed in the user console: imminent expiry of licenses, scheduled service maintenance and publication of new versions.
2. Endpoint protection
2.1 Compatibility: The protection can be installed on "Windows Small Business Server 2000/2003/2008" and on "Windows Home Server".
2.2 We have extended the list of antiviruses uninstalled automatically during the installation process.
