I run an X server on my Win7 machine that is protected with Internet Security 2015. The server listens on port 6000, which I have opened inbound for all IPs using TCP/UDP.
I connect to this X server from various Unix boxes on my LAN. Before a recent Panda update, I could connect to port 6000 multiple times from each Unix machine. Now I can only connect once; subsequent connections time out.
When I disable the Panda firewall, I can connect as many times as I want (as it should be).
My work-around: whenever I want a second (third, fourth, etc) connection from a Unix box, I turn off the Panda firewall, make the connection, then turn the Panda firewall back on. Yecch.

Which Panda product and version are you using? You can check it in the version.ini file located in the antivirus installation folder
Check the antivirus report for any block events from the unix stations IP addresses

I looked through the AV Report and see no firewall entries.
This is what netstat is showing:Here's what I see when I try to make a second connection from one

Then I turn off the Panda firewall and things work:

Can you post a copy of the antivirus report anyway?georger wrote:I looked through the AV Report and see no firewall entries.
Try creating a rule to allow the inbound connections for that X Server application from the IP addresses range in your network (10.1.1.1-10.1.254)
