Hello.
I tried PandaCloudAntivirus versions v.2.3 and Panda Antivirus 2014 (AP4.exe) PRO.
These versions do not inconveniant as versions 15 and 17 (absent balloontip when removing a USB device).
So I'm seeking for a version of Free Panda Antivirus 2014.

We have managed to replicate the issue and it seems to only happen in XP, not in other operating systems
We have created the case 04427675 to study it

The balloon tip appeared for me today, so I presume this has been fixed? Of course it may be that it was fixed a long time ago and I've only just noticed!

Hello.
I'm happy for those who use Windows XP if this issue is resolved. But when I closed WXP,then run it again and introduce an USB disk and then remove it for the first time, the balloon tip appears. But if I introduce again an USB and then remove it,no more balloon tip.
Have you really fixed that issue as suggered by Stompa?
But I'm no more interested by this issue because my old PC with WXP is brocken;and nothing to do for repairing it.
I bought a new PC with Windows 10 64 bits.As protection,I use Windows Defender already inside, and Malwarebytes Antimalware already paid.
So,if it's OK for Stompa and if you resolved this issue for XP,you may close this long post.
Thank you.

FWIW I seem to get the balloon tip every time, not just when I remove it the first time.

What I did to fix it completely inadvertently all by accident without knowing I had even fixed it:
1. I opened the System Information tool by clicking Start > Run > typed in: msinfo32 > clicked: Ok.
2. In System Information I clicked though each and every item on the left pane. Then I exited System Information.
3. Many minutes later I inserted a USB stick and when removing it I tried to safely remove it using the balloon tip and it worked for the first time in years, and continues to work without issue.

This did not involve messing with any Panda Free Antivirus setting either, I hadn't touched it during that whole Windows session.
