Like many others using XPpro, my Panda version 16.1.3 failed to show in the System Tray, & in the right click Context menu.
As suggested, I altered the date to 21 April & Panda was back to normal. But I prefer to use the correct date, so today downloaded the Panda Free AV from this link:-
http://www.pandasecurity.com/resources/ ... freeav.exe - but it wasn't version 18.1.0 as shown, it was 15.14.3.0 !!
Hence my confusion.
Could anyone please advise which of the Free versions will work with XP without having to install Net framework 4?
Advice & any help will be much appreciated. Many thanks.

The version shown when clicking the properties of the setup file "freeav.exe" don't tell you what the actual version is, the version is for something else perhaps the self-extracting installer. I don't know why they do that.
This is always what I do to verify what version I've downloaded of freeav.exe:
There's a version file buried inside it (version.ini if I'm remembering correctly) that you can extract using a tool such as 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org) and then open version.ini in Notepad to see what version you downloaded.
