Automatic updates inop after January 24, 2017

Hello,

PFA Version 16.0.2

The most recent automatic update of Panda Free AV ran on January 24, 2017.

According to the the following post, the problem may be with .NET Framework:

I used Microsoft's .NET Framework Repair Tool and it found no problems with .NET but Automatic updates in Panda still inop. Instead, when I click on Settings > General > Update Now, I see the progress circle spinning endlessly.

This PC is running 64x Win10 Pro (plain vanilla -- not Anniversary Edition and not Creators Update).


Related symptoms:
1) When I manually select Full Scan, the scan indicates completed instantaneously (zero time spent scanning). No error messages indicated.
2) When I right-click on a file or folder in Windows Explorer and select Scan with Panda, the scan does appear to work correctly. It takes a few seconds and reports the number of threats detected (usually zero) and the number of items scanned.

Please tell me how to troubleshoot automatic updates inop.
