NNSPIHSW.sys causing BSOD - Any way to solve it?

Post by CarlosHingel »

Hello,

I'm experiencing BSOD's with panda free on a recently clean installation of windows.

Computer name: DESKTOP-L7KSEV1
Windows version: Windows 10 , 10.0, build: 16299.64
Windows dir: C:\Windows
Hardware: ASRock, Z270 Extreme4
CPU: GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz Intel586, level: 6
8 logical processors, active mask: 255
RAM: 17136902144 bytes total

So i used "Whocrashed" to figure this out and this is what it says:

On Sun 19/11/2017 01:05:56 your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\111917-7984-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: nnspihsw.sys (NNSPIHSW+0x12002)
Bugcheck code: 0x1E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF8023BD7DCF7, 0xFFFFDB8FEBA7DD08, 0xFFFFDB8FEBA7D550)
Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\nnspihsw.sys
product: Nano Network Security
company: Panda Security, S.L.
description: Process Info Hook Server WFP
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nnspihsw.sys (Process Info Hook Server WFP, Panda Security, S.L.).
Google query: Panda Security, S.L. KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

As you can see i'm running the lasted build of windows 10 fall creators and i'm running panda free 18.03.00!

Any fixes or advises? The full mini dump is attached to this post.
