Hi!
My Win10 computer shows: "Panda firewall is not activated and your device is probably unprotected"
see German screenshot.
There is a link button "open panda firewall".
Clicking on it does not have any reaction.
Windows firewall function is blocked because of Panda.
How can I activate a firewall?
thanks!

Re: Firewall not active - Win10
The same thing happened to me. Windows 10 (1709) 64bit. I removed Panda because of it.
Edit: Version 18.04.00 and firewall works right.

yes. But think that panda free version does not have a firewall.

Re: Firewall not active - Win10
Dear all,
exactly the same problem here! In Windows 10 system control Safety Settings, Defender is activated for all types of networks. I am well aware that Panda is only antivirus and not firewall, so both Panda and Defender should be active. In Windows 10 Defender Security Center (another Windows 10 app for controlling security) however, the application claims that Defender is deactivated because Panda is registered incorrectly as a firewall. There is no way of editing this setting, as the link to Panda does not work (Not surprising, as Panda is not a firewall). So i guess tehre is some communication issue between Panda antivirus and Windows 10 security / Defender. The frustrating consequence is that Panda free antivirus installation seems to lead to deactivation of any firewall on my system.
I hope for some update or answer, because otherwise i have to uninstall Panda and look for a Windows 10 compatible antivirus software.

Re: Firewall not active - Win10
CAn yo think why Windows is detecting a firewall when there is not one on the installation?
My suggestion is to either reinstall the protection, or follow the instructions to delete the panda firewall from the WSC:
1 - Open an MS-DOS with administrator permissions.
2 - Run the following command:
In the first place the command
wmic
Subsequently, the following:
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter PATH FirewallProduct GET /value
if nothing is found then enter this command:
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH FirewallProduct GET /value
3 - We must take note of INSTANCEGUID antivirus that is assigned to the information presented.
4 - To fix the problem run the command:
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter PATH FirewallProduct WHERE instanceguid="{antivirus´s guid}" DELETE
But if you entered the second command on point 2, then the delete command would be:
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH FirewallProduct WHERE instanceguid="{antivirus´s guid}" DELETE
Please confirm if this solves the issue

Re: Firewall not active - Win10
Version is 18.01.00.
I tried with the commands you provided,
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH FirewallProduct GET /value - works until this point as described
The final command (in that case /NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH FirewallProduct WHERE instanceguid="{antivirus´s guid}" DELETE) does not seem to have an effect.
Windows continues to interpret Panda as a firewall.

Re: Firewall not active - Win10
Did you try to change the firewall MUID by the actual MUID wiht all the info for the MUID in the correct field?
I mean when running the:
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH FirewallProduct GET /value
yo will get an out put like this:
displayName=Panda Adaptive Defense 360 Firewall
instanceGuid={F77F8DFC-1E5A-11E9-2FBF-DE5D4822445B}
pathToSignedProductExe=C:\Program Files (x86)\Panda Security\WAC\PAV3WSC.exe
pathToSignedReportingExe=C:\Program Files (x86)\Panda Security\WAC\PAV3WSC.exe
productState=462864
timestamp=Mon, 22 Jan 2018 08:00:09 GMT
So you have to enter the red ID on the right field on the next command:
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH FirewallProduct WHERE instanceguid="{antivirus´s guid}" DELETE)
With quotation marks and key marks included. so the last command would be
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH FirewallProduct WHERE instanceguid="{F77F8DFC-1E5A-11E9-2FBF-DE5D4822445B}" DELETE)
Try it this way.

Re: Firewall not active - Win10
Finally tried it, following your instructions.
I get an error "Ungültiger Verbparameter (invalid alias verb).
This is the line where i inserted the section highlighted in your last post:
wmic:root\cli>/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH FirewallProduct WHERE instanceguid="{7E957C27-E6CC-E160-34FA-E3201100269B}" DELETE)
Ungültiger Verbparameter.
Seems to be some mistake in the line?
Best,
FB
