I just downloaded Panda Free and was in the process of running my first scan (critical systems only as I saw a full scan may take a couple of hours). This is on an Acer Aspire Windows tablet, by the way. I got to about 89% completion on the first scan and it froze there. At first I thought it was because I had jumped onto the internet for a minute. Tried again, and this time it froze on 91%. I had an open program (a word processor), so I thought, well silly, it probably can't scan an open program. Closed out of everything! I've got the blue Panda icon down on the bottom, and it doesn't have a red X through it, and I also checked in services.msc (saw those possibilities in some of the other posts) and it seems like all is running.
