[CLOSED] Error Checking/Setting up Account for New Install

I used the offline install to install Panda Free Antivirus and was successful, however when I open it I am prompted to enter my email address for my Panda account or so that one may be created for me. After entering my email address it attempts to connect to the internet for activation and then I receive an error saying they were unable to access my account even though I am currently connected to the internet.

How can I fix this?

Did you create the Panda account?
Did you receive the account validation email and validated the account?
Are you able to login to your Panda account by accessing through a web browser?

I have created the Panda Account via a Web Browser.

I have received the account validation email and validated the account.

and I have been able to login to my Panda Account via my Web Browser, but I still receive the message "Error Checking the Account" that tells me to make sure I have an Internet Connection and try again.

Can you check whether the antivirus or Internet Explorer is set to use a proxy to reach the Internet?
