[SOLVED] Panda Global Protection 2012 stops during scanning
My newly installed Global Protection 2012 stops at 7% during full scan (total scanned files= 705). I run a laptop with Win7 64 bit OS. System has a 256 MB flash drive. After quitting program & rebboting PC, the full scan option doesn't even want to open its scanning window - nothing happens when clicking on full scan. Clicking on quick scan opens new window - stops at 20% without any files counted as scanned (seems like no contact with server...). Scanning e-mail folders works however fine, as do scanning of other folders....
Program runs fine on two other laptops.

Hi Steinar,
Try deleting the nanocahe.fil2 file located into the antivirus installation folder, under SAFE MODE.
Then, try launching the scan again and keep us updated.

Still no luck with the scanning, deleting the nanocahe.fil2 did however get the program to start scanning, but it still stops. Also one of the other two laptops stopped after completing 43%. So status now is 1 out of 3 laptops where the GP 2012 works..... I was planning to extend my license to 5 machines, but for that to happen I need a reliable working system first.
The PC which is OK is an Acer which runs Win7 32 bit - the other one which stopped at 43% is a Dell Latitude E6400 also with Win7 32 bit. Any other suggestions?

Installed PG 2013 on my Lenovo "on the fly" laptop today - it works like a charm! 
Hopefully the new beta version will do the trick on my other laptops as well... I'll give it a try when returning to my office in a few weeks time.
