[CLOSED] Should I be worried?

Postby nightowl » Wed, 08 Aug 2012, 23:24

Hi, I have Panda security pro as my computer has been hacked before and thank you I love the Panda cloud concept. My internet speeds were really good until last week around 200kBs and I had no trouble streaming videos. This week the speed will not go above 50kBs and I can't stream anything and my laptop is really slow even just surfing the web.

I read an article which suggested I check my netstat which I did with the following result

at the command prompt

"
netstat – f

Active Connections

Proto Local Address Foreign Address State
TCP 10.0.0.2:54101 a184-87-119-117.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com:http CLOSE_WAIT
TCP 10.0.0.2:54673 visicom-46.nationalnet.com:http CLOSE_WAIT
TCP 10.0.0.2:54783 a-61-9-129-230.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com:http TIME_WAIT
TCP 10.0.0.2:54789 a-61-9-129-230.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com:http ESTABLISHED
"

I tried to visit the websites mentioned but could not. Is this OK or is funny something going on. Please help.

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

The netstat seems OK. The websites listed are not malicious.

Does your internet browsing speed go up when you disable Panda?

Which Panda product are you running, btw?

Let us know.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Radko
