[SOLVED] Non visible files in vault when uninstalling?
Hi.
I have an issue with panda antivirus. When i try to uninstall it, the uninstaller tells me that it is system files in my vault, and those will not med recoverable if I uninstall, but when i look in the vault, it's empty. Why? how should I find them?
Info about my system:
- Windows Home Premium SP1 (32-bit)
- Intel Core2Quad Q6700 2 GB RAM
- Panda Antivirus Pro 2012 11.01.00
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Non visible files in vault when uninstalling?
This is a known issue. There are some 0 KB size files generated into the quarantine (PSQStore folder inside the antivirus folder). Apart from those files you should see these ones
Invent.QCF
Invent.QCF.ext
PSQ.CFG
If the only files that are not 0 KB are these ones, you can uninstall without any problem

Re: Non visible files in vault when uninstalling?
The vault seems to be completely empty when i open it in panda antivirus. (but the message if i try to uninstall remains)
How do I know that i't the files you describes that populates the vault?

If the only files in the PSQStore folder inside the antivirus folder except Invent.QCF, Invent.QCF.ext and PSQ.CFG have a size of 0 KB you can agree the message to continue the uninstallation
You can also applyu hotfix hft111104s18_r2.exe to correct the problem
Once you reboot after applying the hotfix, if you uninstall the message should not appear

Re: Non visible files in vault when uninstalling?
Yes, now I watched the contents of C:\Program Files\Panda Security\Panda Antivirus Pro 2012\psqstore, and it's exactly as you described.
I have run the patch, but I don't uninstall now, waiting if you can find the solution of my other problem.
(earlier I was going to uninstall for trouble-shooting purpuses)
Thanks for your help, this problem solved
