[CLOSED] Why all the negative reviews?
I am new to Panda and I just purchased Panda Global Protection 2012 and it works excellent! I was turned onto Panda after successfully using Free Panda Cloud AV. I previously used Avast and became suspicious when Avast reported no incidents or infections. Panda returned scans with some Trojans and lots of Spyware on my pc, so I trusted Panda over Avast ever since.
Here is my issue, and I apologize for the long explanation. I spent 1 week studying all the competition, with the help of Google. Usually, when Panda was mentioned by other sites, it was not very positive by way of how Panda cleans up infections in general. Personally, I don't believe that because Panda is doing a superb job on my PC. Maybe, is it because these are sites trying to win business to other competitor anti-virus companies? Or did Panda have problems in the 2011 version that were since resolved, but the testers out there on the internet are judging based on older versions?
This is not a complaint, but more like asking for your point of view. If you could answer to this effectively, then it will help me in bringing more friends to Panda and to be prepared for their seeing less than positive reviews of the products.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Why all the negative reviews?
Hello,
Thank you for your post.
I don't know how you googled our product, but googling "panda global protection review" gives out only happy reviews
Panda is known for its epic detection rate of unknown malware so paid-for reviews should GTFO.
I can pinpoint one independent website you can trust - http://www.av-test.org. Other websites (such as http://www.virusbtn.com) are known to be sponsored.
Hope this information answers your inquiry. If not - don't hesitate to contact us!
Thank you.
Best regards,
Radko

Re: Why all the negative reviews?
Panda 2010 came on this laptop when I bought it.
I more or less successfully updates to Panda 2011.
The update to 2012 has been nothing but a disaster; slow (as in minutes to never) page connections, garbled data, videos (like Youtube) never upload at all.
Maybe that is why there have been "negative reviews".

Re: Why all the negative reviews?
The issue you are having sounds like Windows software issue and NOT Panda. I have a 3 year old Dell laptop and had a Certified Microsoft professional re-configure it. Panda mostly works from the cloud.
Re: Why all the negative reviews?
I have not had this issue before with Panda 2010 or 2011.
Now Windows suddenly awakes after lying dormant?

Just have your computer checked out. It sounds like a b
igger problem than a small size Panda program at hand.
Re: Why all the negative reviews?
Do you work for Panda?
How do you know it is a problem with MY computer and not the Panda installation?
Let's see, computer worked perfectly BEFORE Panda 2012.
Computer sucks AFTER Panda 2012.
Yup, must be the computer's problem.

Re: Why all the negative reviews?
I have just started a trial of Panda. There is an issue but I am sure it will be resolved. Panda has found spyware that was not picked up before and the PC might be running faster than it did. But speed can change after installing and reinstalling anyway.
What I found when I used Panda 10-12 years ago that the firewall could be set to block even Microsoft. I can't really tell what any AV tool does but I would like to stop Facebook LinkedIn etc. getting my address book from my PC. So irrespective of reviews that is why I am trying Panda even though my instinct is to use the Microsoft Firewall in XP.

Re: Why all the negative reviews?
Had nothing but problems with Internet Security 2012, biggest being an almost complete lack of support.
