Indian companies hit by 'printer virus'

LONDON: Thousands of office printers around the world have been spewing out page after page of gibberish after being hit with a computer virus.

As several companies complained that thousands of pages of paper were wasted when the Windows virus hit their computers, security firms said the worst hit were large businesses in the US, India, Europe, and South America.

I think so as last week I had to perform a remote control to a customer's computer complaining about this behavior, So the files removed must have been added to our detection signatures

This kind of malware exploit Adobe and Java vulnerabilities, so make sure to update them to the latest version
That machine had also a hijacked search engine (Findgala) that needed to be manually removed
