[SOLVED] Error code 768 : Admin Secure
I'm using Admin Secure version 4.50 (Panda Security for enterprise) . When I install agent for clients by manual (100 nodes) , some computers (5 to 10 clients) cannot get the protection from Panda Server. Error code : 768
How to solve this problem? I have tried to remove and re-install agent many times but the error still remains.

Re: Error code 768 : Admin Secure
Error 768 generally means that there is other protection installed.
We have a component of our antivirus called the "shield" which will block this sort of thing. Use the attached (password panda) and turn it off.
Once off please reintegrate the shield.
On another note, please make sure you have the essential hotfixes installed.

Thanks

I have downloaded the tool which in your attachment (escudo) . We will run this tool on clients (which protection cannot deploy) and choose Off and then reinstall the agents ?

You mean that Panda for desktops is not installed? I was under the impression you were repairing agents on machines and doing fresh installs.
If this is not the case , you will have to remove the other AV before deploying Panda for desktops.
Do the following.
Create an install package
1. Tools > Updates & repositories > Installation packages tab. Take the latest Panda for desktops.
2. Copy the folder to the target machine.
3. on the target machine navigate to the folder via CMD
4. run this against the .exe: -a:install -log -debug
It should tell you why its failing at the end. For example.
Error 768: windows defender.
If you get stuck, please give me a shout.

Yes, you are right! Panda for desktops is not installed on clients.
Should we need to turn off Window Defender before install Panda for Desktop?

Re: Error code 768 : Admin Secure
I would disable that, turn DEP on for only for essential servers & put UAC on the minimum (windows 7).
Re: Error code 768 : Admin Secure
Hi,
Please download and run this tool on the target machine that is having the 768 error.
www.pandasoftware.co.uk/download/tools/wscv.exe
Run this and hit the "remove antivirus products". This will remove the registration of the other AV product from Windows Security Centre. Then try and reinstall the Panda again.
Many thanks, pilligore
