Wrong Unlock Code Entered - Theft Alert

Post by Mantari »

When you incorrectly try to unlock the mobile device, after a number of incorrect tries Panda sends out an e-mail with a photo and location of the device with the following message

"Someone has tried to unlock your device 24fa73f2c49f253b with the wrong code multiple times!

Here is a photo of the person who has tried to unlock your phone."

___________________________

As you can see the e-mail identifies the device as a hexadecimal value which is impossible to identify.

Please can that be changed to the device name so that it can be easily identified - or at least something more useful and user-friendly

Thanks

M

Hi,

You can access to My account in the web site and edit the name of the device to help you to identify the device.

Hi
Thanks for the update

It's a bit un-user friendly and laborious when the info is already available

Can you not get the App to identify the phones's name without the user having to do it manually as it already stored in Device Name (in settings) rather than generating a Hex code

It would be interesting to know how many people actually know, and have used, the edit name feature - its not clear at all
