Installed the hotfix. I tried running a quick scan first, and it worked fine.
I then attempted a full scan, it got stuck again at around 35%. I then tried to run a quick scan, and this time it got stuck around 25% again.

Just uninstalled Microsoft Outlook as requested. Unfortunately, the scan is still getting stuck, at around 13%.
