[SOLVED] [case:03418960]tftp application freeze

Postby robertd » Thu, 10 May 2012, 21:13

I ran into an issue with an industrial application which transfers files to an industrial controller using an embedded tftp client. The app just freezes during the transfer. I have found that all of these features need to be disabled for the application to work properly:

permanent mail protection
permanent instant message protection
permanent internet protection

I opened a case which was supposed to go to tier 2 support but I haven't heard anything yet. Case number: 03418960

Is there any way to expedite my case or fast track my account to v6 so I can test with that version? Thanks

Hi,

I just viewed your PSINFO on that case. Can you tell me if you kill webproxy.exe the problem resolved?

Shouldn't webproxy.exe ignore local intranet traffic anyway? Is there a setting for that? I have not received a response to the case since sending the requested psinfo.

We are actually taking webproxy / LSP layers out from version 6 so I'm pretty sure that the best way here is to rename webproxy.exe to webproxy.ex_ in %program files%\panda security\WAC

Its not really an option to troubleshoot this now with version 6 so close. Happy with this?

EDIT

Id be more than happy to setup a test account for you to test with, let me know.

Sure, I would be happy to test with a v6 account. What info do you need from me or where do I sign up?
