Re: Panda requests constant restarts

Hi jrehm,

That can be caused by some temporary files and they can at times take a few reboots to be completely cleared out. Let us know if you have any other issues.

Re: error 1547 cannot connect to server while installing panda cloud

jasonseah,

If you are getting error 1547 that can indicate that the MSI file is corrupt. Have you tried downloading a new Waagent.msi from your console and running that?

Re: error 1547 cannot connect to server while installing panda cloud

Hi jasonseah, You need to make sure that all the PCOP connection requirements have been met. The link below outlines all connection URLs and ports. You should not get any errors connecting as long as nothing such as a router or firewall is restricting the PCOP agent. Required URLs and Ports for PCOP...

Re: PCOP offline signature file distribution to offline PC/non LAN PC

PCOP version 6 and later does not use a pav.sig file. Instead of this, the virus definitions are updated using a set of cache files. By doing this, the software can update to the latest definitions much faster since it only downloads and updates the changes in the definitions.

Re: Language changes out of the blue to spanish?!?!?

Hi,

Please verify that all Panda services are running and not stopped in the Microsoft services console(services.msc). Also, if you are running Windows 7 the UAC setting being set too strict can cause issues such as this.
