No, once I allowed the denied applications that I have been experiencing issues with, all programs seem to be working normally.

It is set to ask, but has clearly been denying instead

It was indeed the Application Control Protection. A number of normal applications were set to Deny, but no changes were made by me to those settings. Weird. It was also blocking Adobe Reader and ActiveX.

Around May 9th, Panda began blocking the execution of various OEM Windows apps, including Live Mail. Unable to open Live Mail to access email. Disabling protection, process monitor, and firewall does not change this, it still blocks the execution attempt.

I would suggest trying to replace some of the more important .dll files from a still working computer, and then repair Panda using the offline installer, and finally recover files in quarantine. Currently trying this out, will update if it works. Another option I am trying is to run sfc /scannow fro...

As I'm not one to wait long for a response, I went ahead and uninstalled. Downloaded a fresh installer, and ran as administrator. No new logs have been generated in the last 15 minutes. I will check again in a few hours and update.

let a regular install fail, and then it will let you download the offline installer if you follow the link
