Panda guys, please let us know as soon as you have a resolution because we really worry. In about 10 hours, users will be back....so the clock is ticking.

Thanks and once more, this situation is UNACCEPTABLE. Its a shame for you doing this thing and a shame for us selling this product to our customers.

CA3366 is right. For everyone it is a bad situation but we need the fix now!

We have over 300 Clients on 20 costumers accross the country installed with pcop.

Did anybody had problems with windows servers or services like exchange, SQL, remote desktop, SharePoint, etc.?
For me only clients seems to be affected.

Hi,

The solution which restores the quarantined files has been automatically deployed in all the affected products. We are working on a tool to be installed on those computers which require a manual installation of the solution. We will update the information as soon as it is ready.

I agree a more technical explanation where we can verify the fix has been applied before rebooting a machine is needed.

So, I have noticed something that I don't think has been addressed. I have confirmed at least one instance where multiple programs were missing from Add/Remove Programs. I believe these programs are going to need to be re-installed, regardless of what happens with this fix. That is potentially a bigger issue than what happened this morning.

Could you check that the quarantine folder located at "C:\ProgramData\Panda Security\Panda Security Protection" is empty?

I've managed to rescue quite a few windows 7 pc's today that had been restarted by using windows system restore.

Boot the pc while pressing f8 and select repair your computer from the menu.

Select system restore and pick a date before 11/03/15. It may complain the restore failed. If it does then boot up with f8 again and go into safe mode and the restore will be complete.

Boot back up into normal mode and run the update on panda.
