I wondered why scanning compressed files is not enabled by default. Is it because enabling the scanning of compressed files slows Panda Dome?

hello,

a compressed file can have hundreds of files inside, so the analysis can take a long time to finish

Thanks Darth. I could imagine that this slows down the real time protection functions and so slows the whole system. I also guess that when files are decompressed, Panda Dome is on the job scanning the files that are decompressed.
