Key: HKCU\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENTVERSION\EXPLORER\ADVANCED
Value: HIDEFILEEXT

Instead of deleting this valid registry key, set its value to zero so that file extensions are not hidden.

The Issue is not resolved, yet for my Windows XP pc.

I am not able to install the Panda Antivirus , yet.

The installer show an error !

Hello, the log tells me that it is a Win 7 Pro SP1, it is not a Win XP

Try to right click on the installer and select run as administrator.
