[SOLVED] Arduino compiling

Post by juremm »

Hi,

I am using Panda Antivirus Pro2012, using Windows7 Home Premium, on Sony VAIO.

I read the Solved topic about slow Arduino compilation. I have set firewall and allowed to Arduino.exe input/output connections, but compilation was still extremely slow.

If I turn Panda off completely, then compilation is normal. That indicates that there is something in Panda that blocks compiling in Arduino.

I find the same problem with AVRStudio 6.

Can you please check that out.

Best regards

I have downloaded the file, run it, but it prompts that "The update was not carried out" - probably means it did nothing?

I did turn off Panda before running update.

Try rebooting the PC and applying it again. If you receive the same message, try applying it under safe mode

Hi,

after rebooting the PC, downloading new version of AVRStudio6.1 all works well! Also Arduino IDE compilation works well.

Thanks for quick reply!
