[CLOSED] antivirus will not turn on

Hi
I have tried some of the solutions in the archives but no luck. the antivirus will not turn on. keeps telling me to reboot. some weird things going on with my PC now. I suspect malware/adware..and I really hope its not a virus.

everything was working fine a few days ago. I let my GF use my PC and now all hell is loose.

Please help me.

Which Panda product and version are you using?
When you open the antivirus do you see any protection in error?

Go to start -- run, type services.msc and press OK

Panda services must be "Running" and "Automatic start". If any of them is not started, right it and select to start it. If that process shows any error, send us a screenshot of it

the last one was not started so I right clicked and started it, re booted and still the same issue.

If the problem persists, consider upgrading to the 2014 range: How can I upgrade my product to Panda 2014?

I downloaded the 2014 product. the scan found a lot of malware and spyware. when I went to clean it "disinfect" it wiped out everything. I could not even sign into my desktop, I had to uninstall in safemode. I really want to use this product until my license is up in Jan but WOW.

Do you happen to know what was detected?
As you have already uninstalled from safe mode the antivirus report is not there anymore

Could you try performing a custom installation?

Below are the instructions to identify which protection is causing problems.

First, you must completely uninstall your security solution in order to be able to carry out a fresh new custom installation.

Step 1: Uninstall your antivirus

To uninstall the antivirus, go to Control panel / Add or remove programs and select your Panda program Antivirus.

Step 2: Download the antivirus

When the computer is clear of other installations, Click the Product name and save the executable file of your Panda 2013 product to your Desktop:

Panda Global Protection 2014
Panda Internet Security 2014
Panda Antivirus Pro 2014

Step 3: Install the antivirus (custom)

Double-click the Panda Product installer file for the installation process to begin, and follow the steps below to carry out a custom installation:
  1. Select the option to Install in a customized way.
  2. You will then be shown the protection to be installed. All checkboxes will be selected by default. Clear the following checkboxes: Firewall protection, Identity protection, Protection against vulnerabilities and Anti-spam filter. You will be asked to Restart the computer, do so.
  3. Open the antivirus program. The mentioned protection will appear as not installed in the first window. Install the Firewall protection first. You will be asked to Restart the computer, do so.
  4. Check the mentioned error does not occur.
  5. Open the antivirus program. The protection pending installation will be shown in the first window. Install Identity protection (only this protection). Restart the computer.
  6. Check the mentioned error does not occur.
  7. Open the antivirus program. The protection pending installation will be shown in the first window. Install Protection against vulnerabilities (only this protection). Restart the computer.
  8. Check the mentioned error does not occur.
  9. Open the antivirus. The protection pending installation will be shown in the first window. Install the last protection: Anti-spam filter. Restart the computer.
  10. Check the mentioned error does not occur.
When installation is complete, please tell us which protection causes the error or whether the error has been solved by carrying out a custom installation.
