I have been using Panda IS for a few months now and have virus scans scheduled to run and check my HDD's. These scheduled scans never seem to actually run, as they are not listed in the event report. Even when sitting in front of my pc during a scheduled scan time, nothing seems to be happening. The only virus scans that actually run are on demand scans that I have started myself.
Technical support is poor, they are very slow to reply and have only replied once and the reply I got had nothing to do with the issue I raised.
Anybody shed any light on this problem?
TIA

Re: Panda Internet Security Scheduled Scan
Hello,
I am not too sure if there is supposed to be a log but please try the following hotfix in the meantime.
http://www.pandasecurity.com/resources/ ... s5_r13.exe
Thanks

Can you take the screenshot of your schedule scan by open :BIGEYE wrote:I have been using Panda IS for a few months now and have virus scans scheduled to run and check my HDD's. Schedule Scan -> Select the scan name you set before and click Scan Setting . In Schedule Settings section, click on Schedule and take the screenshot of it. Show it here and I can tell the reason!

Re: Panda Internet Security Scheduled Scan
Dear BIGEYE,
Thanks for your screenshot,
Base on the schedule you set, from 6:00 to 23:00 ,
At that time , you can open Task manager -> Processes Tab and view what processes are running under your username , do you see some process of Panda running? ?
Open Panda and View event report, you also see the Scan started at 6:00? It shows on Notified table: On-demand antivirus scan
Sp, the schedule scan you set will run (hidden) and it does not show the Scan windows like you click on Scan by demand....

Thanks!

Re: Panda Internet Security Scheduled Scan
Under Task Manager the only reference that resembles that me have been generated by Panda is PavBckPT.exe. Under PIA reports, it does show that scan has started at the correct time.

Re: Panda Internet Security Scheduled Scan
You never answered my question about the task scheduler service but as you say that the report shows the scan started at the correct time, we assume that there is no issue.
As dangnguyen says, the scheduled scans don't show any visible window about the scan progress
