[CLOSED] License Management

Post by hansenc »

Hello,

We are just about out of licenses in my organization and I believe we have some duplicates. I was wondering if anyone could help me understand how Panda deals with computers that have been reimaged? I have duplicate hostnames in my computers list. Also, if I delete a computer from the computers list and it is still active, will it reimport?

Thanks

Hi!

To delete a PC for good, you need to add it to the blacklist so it doesn't get re-imported in the console.
Also, to find out the duplicates, you can hover on each hostname and note the installation date of the protection.

Note: To add a PC to the blacklist, click on its hostname and then click on the "Add to blacklist" button in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Let us know in case you have any further inquiries.

Cheers!

That's great information, thanks! My plan is to delete all duplicates, but in the case that I get one wrong I wanted to make sure it would re-import. If I run into any other issues I will ask.

Hi!

... or you can sort the PCs by last connection and find out which are the offline hostnames...

Cheers!
