[SOLVED] Blue screen/BSoD after installing PCOP

Post by unyu123 »

Hello,

I installing PCOP on my computers (Windows Vista), then problem occurs, my computer got a bluescreen for many times. driver causing this problem is Rtlh86.sys (realtek NIC) and sometimes its NNSNAHSL based on the dumpfile.
After using another network card, the problem is vanish without changing PCOP configuration, seems like the problem is around the network card.
so how do I can solve this problem without replacing the network card, because too many computers in my company with this NIC and had the same problem.
is there any issue about this case? please anyone help me

Hi unyu123,

There has been a known issue with Windows Vista and BSoD in an earlier version of PCOP. Which version are you installing exactly?

Hi Bartblaze,

just upgraded to 6.8, but after finishing new installation of PCOP, my Panda Endpoint Protection stuck on ver 6.7, and BSoD still strike after an hour.
I disabled automatic update of protection engine in profile configuration, and the other PCs (with no BSoD problem) still running on 6.7. is there any problem with that?

thanks for replying btw, :D

Unyu123,

I believe the aforementioned BSOD problem that was affecting some Vista installations was fixed with a hotfix which should be available from your local tech support. Give them a ring and let them know the situation and they should be able to provide you the fix to remedy the problem.
