Hi Raman,

How many machines are we talking about? Is this a scheduled scan (from the console), or started locally? Which OS do these machines have? Are they all stuck on the same file?

Thanks,

Regards

Hi Raman,

In that case, on 2 machines (preferably different OS if applicable), execute PSErrorTrace:
  • Download PsErrorTrace.zip (1,19 MB) and save it to your desktop. Open it and then run the file PsErrorTrace.exe (as admin under Vista or higher).
  • Choose the type of operation you were doing when you encountered the problem (installing, activating, opening a program, scanning, etc.).
  • Fill out your Forum registered email and description of problem.
  • Hit Start. You will see a new screen analyzing your computer.
  • Replicate the problem you encountered (scan stuck, failed installation, etc.).
  • Once you were able to replicate the problem, click Finish.
  • Choose Exit and save the report PsErrorTrace.psinfo to your computer. Post that file here as attachment so we can take a look.
Thanks!
