[CLOSED] Panda Service

Post by nrussell »

We are experimenting with URL filtering as part of PCOP Advanced, and for the web filtering to work, the Panda service must be running. For a user to circumvent this, they can simply disable the service.

Is there any way to stop this from happening, or is web filtering just useless for anyone semi-computer literate or with access to google?

Hi nrussel,

First of all, apologies for the delay in answering to your post.

In order to prevent misuse of the network from users, the IT administrator should apply the necessary security and policy settings. By doing so, not only the URL filtering service will be "protected" but also all the applications installed on the computer.
Best regards,
