[SOLVED] Possible False Positive

Post by Alexion Software » Wed, 06 Apr 2016, 15:29

Hi there,

We (Alexion Software) make a CRM program (Alexion CRM) and want to make sure it is not blacklisted or possibly treated as suspected malware or suspicious file. All our programs we digitaly sign with a code signing certificate from DigiCert.

The version of the file (Alexion CRM setup.exe) will be updated once there is a newer version of our software. Normaly 2x a month.

Normaly downloaded by our customers at
- alexion.nl/setup.exe (redirect to:)
- alexion.nl/download/Alexion CRM setup.exe

alternatively
- www.alexion.nl/download/Alexion_CRM_setup.zip

I'm not sure wether this file of certificate can be whitelisted but Avast! gave it a false positive and after sending it to their whitelist scanner it is now added to their white list :-)

I hope you can do something similar :)

If you need more information about our software please contact me.
Met vriendelijke groet,

AnToine van Maarle

Downloaded and analyzed the file for testing purposes and it's absolutely clean.
I'm sure Virusbuster will write you in order to upload the file for whitelisting

Sorry, I've been quite busy these days and didn't have much time to check the forum
I have downloaded the installer and sent it to our laboratory for being whitelisted
This process takes quite a long time to be completed but it will eventually be whitelisted
