[SOLVED] popup during installation

Post by tutie » Thu, 02 Mar 2017, 08:43

Hello,

I confirmed the following issue.
-> There is popup during our application installation.

I want to send the screen capture by zip-file with password from this open thread.
Would you give us the password for zip-file via PM.

Best Regards

Hello,

I am terribly sorry, but correcting the contents and resend it to clarify the purpose.

I would like to add our products to Whitelist of Panda security.
Because I confirmed the following issue.

<issue>
There is popup during our application installation.

Should I submit files with the same way that I previously done ?

Best Regards

This has been reported many times by our colleages in Panda Japan (cases 04341010, 04234540, 04336995, 04336991, and perhaps some other I'm missing) and its not an issue it is the normal behavior for the firewall protection
This message asking to allow the connection will appear only once

The Firewall policy always asks for incoming connections when unknown software signature is detected. So the user must select "Allow" or "Deny" to this question.
Even if the software is digitally signed, it will be considered as an unknown application (in the machine) as it has just been installed
So the firewall will ask for permission when receiving an incoming connection from the software, only the first time. And if the software is updated (CRC/MD5 changes) it will ask again for permisions

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

I have just understood the following contents by reading your message.
- It is no issue bacause this behavior is occured by firewall
- Even if our software is added into your whitelist, the message is displayed.

Best Regards.
