Remote access problem

Hi,

We've run into an issue with remote desktop which is probably a real easy one..

"Could not connect to the remote device. Please ensure that you are using the correct VNC password and that the VNC service is started on the remote device"

In this case there is no issue with services, on either machine. The problem is that we've removed the saved password in Settings>VNC

Whatever password I try to get this working again, fails. What is this password? Where can we reset it?

Many thanks!

Additionally, if I de-select "remember password" I get a password/enter credentials box for server address 127.0.01 and VNC server password. Tried allsorts. This is the password I need, it seems but none work

Just add it to your components and run it on the affected computers.
this will reinstall UVnc with the required password.

Hi,

I have tried this, but unfortunately this has not worked. This was on both machines that this is now affecting. Also have tried - complete removal and re-install. change of Panda account password. stop/restart service. ran as admin. I just need to know what that VNC password refers to exactly so I can change/reset it.

Many thanks
