What is your Best Practice and Planning for Patch Management and Windows Update

Post by Huck_Jim »

Hi guys,

I know the question is vague, but I would love to hear some of ideas and best practices on Patch Management and Windows Update implemented in your organization?

My Patch Management setup
- I have local cache collecting component packages and updates
- clients are checking/downloading patches on weekdays every 12-1pm (break time)

My Windows Update setup
- haven't setup because I don't know what/when to run Windows updates. Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance for sharing your ideas.

Thanks for posting... I wanted to know about this too. Hoping, that this will help in smooth running of netfilx, amazon prime and many more on my pc. Also try using free premium accounts for using netflix, amazon prime and many more.
