Help please...

I've just paid to upgrade my Panda Cloud Antivirus Pro and, having uninstalled the old version, the new version will not install stating that it 'Cannot connect to the internet'. There's nothing wrong with the internet connection though and I have disabled the Windows Firewall in case it was blocking data transfer. I've tried Chrome and IE with the same result. I haven't experienced this type of problem with any other software downloads and am at a bit of a loss as to how to proceed.
