Hi guys,
I work for the Mansion Group of regulated online casino websites - we operate the following brands, licensed and regulated in the Tier 1 Jurisdictions of Gibraltar and the United Kingdom:
casino . com
club777 . com
slotsheaven .com
mansioncasino .com
lesacasino .com
Our QA team - as part of its routine testing - attempted to download the (regularly checked itself for any kind of malware) downloadable casino software file, offered by our websites, with Panda Antivirus Pro 2015 enabled.
A warning popup emerges, saying that it is an unknown file and offering the user the chance to Allow or Deny the installation.
As you can imagine - these kinds of warnings, from a popular and established AV program like Panda, really can affect conversion numbers and the average user will often be spooked by a warning message of any kind.
Is there anything you guys can do to remove this flag on the download files?
The download URLS are:
http:// http://www.casino. com/secured_download/
http:/ /www.club777. com/secured_download/
http://www .mansioncasino .com/secured_download/
http://www .slotsheav en .com/secured_download/
http://www .lesacasino .com/secured_download/
We use Playtech's software on licence, please let me know if it might be beneficial to get Playtech to submit files to you and become a "Trusted software provider" - other AV programs do offer this facility and perhaps Panda Cloud offer something similar.
Grateful for the assistance of this Forum or any Panda staff.
thanks!
Chris Phillips

PS - Having to put random spaces in the URLs provided as apparently you have a rule of a maximum of 4 URLs per submission....

Hi
This is not a false positive itself
Its the application control protection the one detecting the application as unkown because it has just been downloaded from the internet.
Just click allow in the popup window to allow the execution or disable the application control protection

Hi Jorge,
Is there therefore nothing we can do here?
Is there no way that we can submit these files to Pandacloud so that they will in future be 'recognised' ?
I understand it is not being detected as malware or anything, but this popup alone will affect conversions.
thanks

Re: False Positive Report - please assist.
There is nothing we can do from our side as there is no detection
As the file is new to the machine, its considered as unknown to the applcacion control protection and asks whether to allow it or not
The only thing you can do is advise the customers that they may receive this message because of that but the application isn't harmful and they can allow it
