[CLOSED] Crash

Post by Gammix »

Hello,
I'm having the same issue described here: http://support.pandasecurity.com/forum/ ... =83&t=5017

I have no .stats files in my temp folder, but found one .pad file which I've attached in a zipped folder.

I have a PCOPinfo file generated using the tool provided, but I'm getting an error saying I can't attach it to this post because it's too big. It's about 4.5mb.

I hope you can help!

Thanks,
Aaron

The infections are Malware:Trj/ExplorerHijack and PUP:PUP/IEToobar.

I tried to extract my PCOPinfo file so that I could copy-paste its contents here but it's password-protected (which I'm guessing you already know).

The PCOPInfo can only be decrypted with an internal tool
Can you upload them to any online storage server such as MediaFire, MEGA, GoogleDrive, Dropbox, etc and provide us the download link?

By checking the PAD file I can only see that you are using both, AVG and Panda
Could it be a conflict with AVG? Can you disable it before applying the disinfection with Panda Cloud Cleaner?

I actually only installed AVG after this problem kept happening to see if it would have better luck. It found some other infections, but not those. I also forgot to mention that I created a rescue drive using Panda but the scan kept failing and starting the boot over; I was stuck in a loop until I removed the drive.

Here's a download link, let me know if there's anything else you need: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4xm3G ... sp=sharing

Have you had a chance to check out the PCOPinfo file?

Sorry, I've been on holidays...

Once checked the PCOPInfo, and seeing that you are using Windows 10 TH2, I see 2 issues:
1. You are using a Panda Free Antivirus version that is not fully compatible with Windows 10
2. You are using a Panda Cloud Cleaner version that had some problems with Windows 10

So, summarizing you must update both Panda Free Antivirus and Panda Cloud Cleaner to their latest versions
You can download them from here:
Panda Free Antivirus
Uninstall the version you currently have installed, reboot the PC and install this new one
Panda Cloud Cleaner
