On bootup, I went through the prompts to use the program and agree to the agreements, and it said it was setting something up then ejected the disk and I had to reboot to Windows where it started running with the desktop grayed out.
1. What did the CD do when it first ran? Install a rootkit or Windows program?
2. How does it start up after I log into Windows? Is it in the Startup folder?
3. How can it be an effective scanner while Windows is running? It may not be able to scan all files if it has to run in the operating system.
I'm concerned that it's installed things into the hard drive or operating system that I don't want or can't remove. Please inform.

Re: Odd behavior with Cloud Cleaner CD
We can't share some of the inforamation you are asking but we can say that its based on an alternate Live OS which allows preparing the installed OS so that the first application to be launched when it boots is Panda Cloud Cleaner
