[CLOSED] Cloud Cleaner hangs at gray screen

I have been able to use the Cloud Cleaner successfully on a few Windows XP systems. However, when recently trying to scan a Windows 7 Professional computer, the computer hangs at Step 2 substep 8 (see http://www.pandasecurity.com/usa/support/card?id=1678). We let it stay in this state for hours, but it never initiated a scan. Restarting the system after turning it off yielded the same results. After turning the machine off, we were able to boot into Safe Mode. The only solution that we found was to rename the Panda Security folder on the C: drive to something else ("Junk"); now we can boot normally, but the system has still not been scanned.

1. How do I get rid of any residual Panda material that was left on my hard drive? Can I just delete the newly named "Junk" folder?
2. Is there any hope of scanning this computer with the Cloud Cleaner?

Which Panda Cloud Cleaner version are you using? You can check it in the pcloudcleaner.ini file from the Panda Cloud Cleaner folder you renamed

I cannot find a file in that folder called pcloudcleaner.ini. However, there is a file called "PandaCloudCleaner" that is identified by the system as a configuration file. In that file, I see the line "lastversion=1.1.8". Is that informative?

Try using the installable version and let us know if the scan is completed
