Panda Free creates thousands of TEMP-Files with 0 KB

Hello!

I´m a bit concerned about the behave of my Panda Free Version 17.0.0 running on Win XP SP3, it writes thousands of TEMP-Files with 0 KB in C:\windows\temp.
In the last weeks it gets from some hundred files to some thousands....
I don´t like the GUI of the new Version and I think the 17.0.0 is very compact and I really would like to stay at this version.

I can confirm this on XP SP3 using Panda v17.0.1.

I was thinking it does that when it's scanning archives such as .zip, .7z, etc., sloppy leaving them behind however I just use CCleaner and/or BleachBit to get rid of them.

Can you confirm that the files are created by the antivirus? Are they still being generated if you disable or uninstall the antivirus?
I've checked my C:\windows\temp folder and there are only 5 files like these

When I used Panda Free Antivirus v18.01 very briefly it was caused by that version as well.

Also when the expired digital certificates issue was on-going (about a week ago) I had a different free antivirus product installed and those .TMP files were not created with Panda uninstalled at that time.

Again I think it's because of scanning archive files such as 7z or ZIP.

Seeing the same effect with latest Panda update, Vista 64 bit. Thousands (about 1500 so far) empty .tmp files in Windows/Temp folder. While doing a "critical scan" (system files and C: drive - no "zip" files), it just keeps popping in a few new .tmp files every second or two.
