unable to uninstall

I recently tried to uninstall the product and the add/remove was hanging.

I followed the instructions on the forum and downloaded the uninstaller.

I rebooted my computer and tried to execute however I receive the following error "Reboot the Machine before using Generic Uninstaller

Any ideas?

I also am having a similar type of problem i.e cannot uninstall Panda Anitivrus Free on a 64bit windows system.

I have tried the generic uninstaller many times and each time it runs for quite a while and then it simply hangs using 0 cpu at 0.4mb memory and does not finish. Eventually I have to kill the task using task manager.

When I then reboot the system I cannot activate any virus protection on my system. When I try to actiivate Windows defender, it tries for a few seconds then gives me a message saying it has switched itself off. This is what keeps re-eoccurring.

The whole cycle was originally triggered by trying to uninstall panda antivirus free.

I have tried running adwcleaner a number of times . Adwcleaner seems to find a Panda thread each time I run it after killing the Panda Task and rebooting.

When I run Panda generic uninstaller in safe mode I get a message telling me to reboot the machine before running the generic uninstaller. see file attached

Hello,

Try this tool that should solve the problem with the generic uninstall tool.

Unzip it, then run it as an administrator (shift+right click) start the .exe file, and then try to start the generic uninstall tool again.
