Installation error when I try to install panda free version
I get the error "An error has occurred during the process and it was not possisble to complete the installation of panda protection" See image attached

use the uninstaller instructions:

This issue is coming due to not uninstalling panda security files properly.
First, you have to uninstall whole panda software. I can help you with panda uninstallation.
you can use panda generic uninstaller to fully uninstall panda version.
You need to run as administrator panda genric uninstaller.
And then you install the panda software

The computer I was trying to install panda on had never before been installed with the panda antivirus. Although it had an avast antivirus installation that had somehow stopped working, so completely uninstalled it and tried installing panda antivirus and got the error. Anyway I tried the ways that @Darth Panda and @Afflospark suggested but nothing worked. I also tried cleaning the registry with CCleaner and also removing any kind of the panda and avast remnants with Revo Uninstaller pro but still nothing worked. So I just did a clean re-installation of windows.

I was going to suggest using the cleansing for antivirus installed products from the windows security centre:
A - For Windows systems prior to Windows Vista SP1:
1 - Open an MS-DOS.
2 - Run the following command:
wmic /NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH AntiVirusProduct GET /value
3 - We must take note of INSTANCEGUID antivirus that is assigned to the information presented.
4 - To fix the problem run the command:
WMIC /NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter2 PATH AntiVirusProduct WHERE instanceguid="{antivirus´s guid}" DELETE
B - For Windows after Windows Vista SP1:
Here you have to try both containers for possible antivirus installations
The SecurityCentre and the SecurityCentre2
For SecurityCentre:
1 - Open an MS-DOS with administrator permissions.
2 - Run the following command:
In the first place the command wmic
Subsequently, the following:
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter PATH AntiVirusProduct GET /value
3 - We must take note of INSTANCEGUID antivirus that is assigned to the information presented.
4 - To fix the problem run the command:
/NAMESPACE:\\root\SecurityCenter PATH AntiVirusProduct WHERE instanceguid="{antivirus´s guid}" DELETE
For securityCentre2
1 - Open an MS-DOS with administrator permissions.
2 - Run the following command:
