[CLOSED] Panda freezes at custom scan

Hi,

I like Panda AV very much but at every custom scan I have run it frozen at arbitrary percentage. Last time at 99 % scanning D_BOOT (or something like this).

What could issue this?

I have noticed no problem till I have tried custom scan.

Maybe problem relates to fact that every time I run custom scan I have also make PC asleep because test take to long to be accomplished at once during my usual PC work time.

I am not going to try if it will be ok if I try custom test at once.

Task manager does not show any abnormal values with Panda processes.

After the test freezes Panda continue normally working. E.g. test can be paused, resumed, cancelled, etc. Last time some error occurred when I try to open process monitor settings from process monitor at this state. Panda crashed and PC has had to be restarted.

Hi,

Have you tried defragmenting the disk and running scandisk in order to discard any disk issues?

Which Panda version are you using? You can check it in the version.ini file located in the antivirus installation folder...
