Hello,
I had to remove Panda because of an obstinate malware infection that had to be removed by another program, which asked for the removal of Panda. That other program now did its work and I want to re-install Panda. But that doesn't work. When I click the the installer (.exe), I get a message from it that I have to reboot the machine first, because there is a Panda install still waiting (to be finished, probably). However, rebooting doesn't get me past that message.
I tried both the uninstall program and the hotfix Hfgp51104s21_r2 as advised elsewhere on this forum, but neither cured the problem.
Thanks for your help in advance, because I really like Panda the best.

Look for an existing RAVTC.TMP or RAVDG.TMP file located in C:\Windows and delete it
Once deleted, try installing again
