[CLOSED] Panda can't connect to internet during initialization
I am trying to install Panda Free Antivirus. The .exe file downloads but when I run it, the program can't connect to the internet even though my laptop is connected. How do I fix this problem? (I have had the same problem trying to install Avast & AVG today. Currently my computer has no antivirus protection other than Windows.)
Re: Panda can't connect to internet during initialization
Perhaps your firewall is not allowing these programs to connect; check Windows Firewall rules. Do you have or did you have different firewall software or utilities installed? If so, check those (or remnants of prior installations).
You may want to run some on-demand scans to check for malware that may be blocking the ability to install security software.

Could you try using the offline installer instead?
